Site Acquisition Agent
NTP Wireless is currently seeking a site acquisition agent in the Chicago Metro area. A site acquisition agent is responsible for the identification, acquisition, lease negotiation, and entitlement services on wireless site development projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identification
- Identify legal owners of sites, make initial contact, and determine willingness to sign a lease at commercially reasonable rates.
- Research land use options that meet search ring criteria.
- Prepare information packages, including the procurement of zoning maps, parcel maps, street maps, deeds and photographs for sites.
Acquisition
- Contact, meet, and negotiate with landowners to enter into long-term leases on commercially reasonable and legally responsible terms.
- Negotiate with telecommunication and infrastructure firms for collocation lease agreements.
- Perform site walks at candidate sites and advise on the design, to ensure leasing and zoning feasibility.
- Manage third party firms to ensure schedule adherence.
Entitlements
- Complete zoning and land use applications.
- Present to commissions and boards.
- Ensure necessary permits/approvals are obtained in accordance with prescribed schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Project management, site acquisition, zoning, and permitting experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Safe driving record and own transportation.
- Must be able to travel unassisted.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Arts/Sciences from an accredited four year university or college.
- Related Real Estate and Telecommunications experience.
- Real Estate Licensees preferred.

Site Acquisition Manager
NTP Wireless is actively seeking a Site Acquisition Manager in Chicago. The Site Acquisition Manager will manage the site acquisition agents and project managers for wireless site development projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all aspects of site development process, including site identification, leasing, A&E, due diligence, zoning, pre-construction and construction.
- Train Site Acquisition Specialists and Project Managers to ensure adherence to quality management guidelines.
- Accurately track progress of the projects in the database.
- Project and execute on project timelines and goals.
- Analyze Zoning Code to develop and implement a Zoning strategy.
- Attend meetings with political liaisons, client, jurisdictions, sub-contractors and landlords.
- Assist Site Acquisition Agents in lease negotiation and execution.
- Conduct weekly internal and external deployment meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Valid U.S. Drivers License with safe driving record and ownership of a vehicle
- Must be able to walk over undeveloped land unassisted
- Must be able to travel unassisted
- Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time
- Right to work and remain in the United States
- General proficiency using computer programs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Arts/Sciences from an accredited university or college
- 5-8 years of wireless site development experience
- 2-4 years of management experience for a wireless carrier in a site development role
